I've already posted some of this on the 'News' section of my site, but I fear it doesn't get much exposure as the 'blog posts' allow me to take certain elements that will then show up in search engines... So in case you have missed any of it I have a quick round up below... But then I have some exciting news on a Jo Malone and Huntsman collaboration! Read on!
Later this month the Archive collection will be getting a refresh, with some new launches and discontinuations.
I've not seen any confirmation as yet, but members of the Jo Malone Facebook page added what thy have heard and this is the list so far:
Leather & Artemisia
Lavender & Corriandor
Tudor Rose & Amber
Birch & Black Pepper (Although this will be back in another form - See below!)
Black Vetyver Cafe
Sadly, apparently we will not be seeing the much rumoured return of Blue Agava & Cacao
Jo Malone have usually started prepping the press about their Christmas campaign before now, but they are remaining tight lipped this year! Current rumour is Jo Malone London are planning for a white Christmas - With a sparkle of silver and gold!
I'm also hearing of a new style advent calendar, (triangular?!) wooden coffrets and some online exclusives...
Huntsman, for those not in the know (including myself until I learnt of this collaboration!), describe themselves as " a bespoke tailor of the highest tradition, with a history that stretches back over 167 years making the most extraordinary clothes for discerning gentlemen and ladies." a quintessentially British brand, a partnership with Jo Malone London feels like a marriage made in heaven!
Jo Malone London and Huntsman have looked over their archive of fragrances, and picked four to represent a gentleman tailored in a bespoke Savile Row suit.
“A Huntsman suit makes you walk a bit taller, stand a little straighter, while a Jo Malone London Cologne is an extension of your personality and the perfect finishing touch"
The four fragrances consist of Amber & Patchouli (2010) - Rich, woody and Spicy, Assam & Grapefruit (2011) - Refreshing and energetic, Birch & Black Pepper (2015) - Oriental and woody and Whiskey & Cedarwood (2017) - Enigmatic and opulent.
No news on distribution as yet, but I expect these will be an online exclusive and possibly some stores.
